Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels
- Manage annual physical inventory counts and regular cycle counts
- Ensure inventory accuracy within the company’s inventory system
- Forecast raw material needs based on production demand
- Maintain bills of materials and properly allocate labor and overhead costs
- Analyze inventory costs, variances, and discrepancies
- Prepare inventory and cost reports for management
- Work closely with operations to ensure inventory transactions are recorded accurately
- Help organize and identify inventory for efficient warehouse management
- Assist with vendor relationships and pricing discussions
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls
- Support financial audits and provide information for outside reporting requests
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, or inventory management
- Experience with any ERP system
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
- Spanish language proficiency is preferred
- Experience with Sage 100 is preferred
- Experience with Power BI is preferred
