Bank President Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in commercial banking at a minimum of SVP or VP level
- Minimum of $250K lending authority with a track record of business development success
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or equivalent experience
- Strong community involvement and relationship-building experience
- Strategic decision-making ability with a collaborative leadership style="">Experience engaging and motivating a lending team
- Familiarity with Jack Henry or similar banking systems
- Prior experience on a credit team and understanding of loan processing preferred
- Confident communicator with a warm, approachable demeanor
- Golfers preferred for networking opportunities within the community
- Lead all commercial banking operations and drive profitability for the Ada branch
- Develop and maintain strong community and client relationships to expand the bank’s business presence
- Collaborate with marketing and leadership to plan strategic growth initiatives and community events
- Represent the bank at board meetings and with peer presidents across the organization
- Support and engage the lending team, ensuring compliance and operational excellence
- Serve as a visible and active community leader, connecting with businesses, universities, and local organizations
- Partner closely with the Chief Lending Officer and senior leadership to achieve organizational goals
