Attorney Responsibilities
- Manage a comprehensive caseload of plaintiff personal injury cases, collaborating with team members
- Conduct intake and screening of potential cases while engaging with new clients during onboarding
- Oversee court deadlines and manage pleadings throughout litigation
- Track exhibits and depositions, ensuring thorough documentation
- Conduct initial investigations, including sending letters of spoliation and processing open records requests
- Work with case managers to facilitate the collection of medical records and bills
- Assist in drafting fee agreements and maintaining client communications
- Take and defend depositions as required
- Handle routine court appearances for uncontested matters
- Barred in Wisconsin
- A few years of experience in litigation, with a strong understanding of formal discovery and civil litigation processes
- Open to newly barred candidates as well as seasoned attorneys committed to long-term growth
- Proficient in technology and comfortable using legal software
- Ability to perform in a high-stress environment and demonstrate a strong work ethic
- Personal injury litigation experience is preferred
