A boutique wealth-advisory firm is hiring an Associate Wealth Advisor who will serve as the strategic right hand to Kevin Roth, the firm’s CEO & Managing Director, and help guide some of the firm’s most sophisticated, high-net-worth families. This role leans into deep financial planning, complex estate and tax strategy, cash-flow modeling, investment analysis, and hands-on client relationship management. You’ll sit in client meetings, run live planning sessions, coordinate with attorneys and CPAs, and gradually grow into leading your own book. Associate Wealth Advisor Responsibilities
- Serve as 2nd chair to the CEO/Managing Director for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth client relationships
- Participate in and eventually lead client meetings
- Prepare and run live cash-flow simulations, stress tests, and wealth-planning models
- Identify gaps and opportunities in financial plans and present recommendations
- Create client agendas and handle planning-focused follow-up
- Coordinate with attorneys and CPAs on estate, tax, and business-owner planning
- Conduct investment due diligence
- Manage smaller client relationships as proficiency and trust increase
- Support ongoing planning and project-management initiatives across a $430M AUM book
- 2 - 3 years of financial services experience with strong knowledge of investments and planning
- Series 65 required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Intellectual curiosity and the drive to solve complex, esoteric planning scenarios
- Ability to think big picture while mastering details in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills and comfort operating live in front of clients
- Highly organized, proactive, and accountable
- Onsite in Houston, Monday - Friday
- CFP completed or actively pursuing preferred
- Experience with LPL or Schwab custodians preferred
- EA or CPA a major bonus preferred
- Exposure to private investments or UHNW planning preferred
- Annual discretionary bonus estimated at 5–15% of base
