Summary
Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist (X-ray Technologist) to join our imaging team on a per diem (PRN) basis. This position is ideal for a flexible and dependable technologist looking to support a dynamic healthcare team.
The role involves covering staff vacations, working one day per week, and every third weekend. Responsibilities include performing high-quality diagnostic imaging proceduresprimarily general radiography (X-rays)in a patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, team-focused, and committed to providing exceptional care and accurate imaging services.

- Holiday pay (if regularly scheduled to work on an observed holiday).
- Assists in overseeing physical maintenance of the Radiology department including equipment.
- Responsible for keeping current on the use of the computer systems used in the BMC Radiology department.
- Performs the duties as a BMC X-ray Technician.
- Maintains effective working relationships within the Radiology department and with other BMC departments to ensure on-going communication.
- Consistently checks each morning that QC tests have been run on the appropriate x-ray system(s) and processors.
- Assists in maintaining adequate stock of supplies by coordinating with the BMC purchasing department and the departmental site-manager.
- Good judgement on supply needs/stocking. Equipment maintenance needs.
- Good Radiographic skills.
- Good understanding of ICD-9 coding and billing procedures.
- Graduate of Accredited School of Radiologic Technologists.
- Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- 1 years Radiology Technologist experience
- Experience in Orthopedics and/or Pediatrics
- Equipment Maintenance
- Ordering and maintaining supplies
- $30.45 - $39.59/hour
