Boulder County Human Services is seeking to hire a Bilingual Family Time Caseworker. This position will provide vital support to parents, facilitating meaningful family time that honors the diversity and cultural backgrounds of each family. This position will ensure compliance with HB 23-1027 regulations, fostering strong partnerships within the community to empower families. Our team is passionate about celebrating the unique strengths of every family and fostering an inclusive, culturally responsive environment. Through this work, you’ll provide invaluable support to families navigating challenging times, empowering them toward reunification.This is a full-time, benefited position that will work between the hours of 9am - 6:30pm, Monday - Friday. Some Saturday work as required to meet the needs of families. This position will work out of 515 Coffman Street in Longmont, CO. Under Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines, this position is exempt.
Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.
Hiring Salary Range: $62,520.00 - $76,284.00 Annually

Examples of Duties
- Provide family time services that respect and uplift families' unique cultural identities, ensuring every member feels valued and included
- Support and monitor family time between children in open child welfare cases and their parents, identifying strengths, challenges, and any safety concerns during family time
- Offer coaching and intervention when necessary to ensure a safe, supportive environment
- Transport children to and from family time sessions, ensuring their safety and comfort, including carrying infants and toddlers as needed
- Document and observe parent-child interactions, focusing on highlighting strengths and providing constructive feedback to foster growth and connection
- Deliver expert testimony in court hearings, such as Termination of Parental Rights (TPR), return home hearings, and family time-specific proceedings
- Collaborate regularly with other professionals to determine the appropriate level and location of supervised visits
- Remain flexible in scheduling to meet the needs of families, adapting to changes as required
- Participate in team meetings, family engagement meetings, group supervision, staff training, and other agency or community engagements
- Performs related work, as required
- May be reassigned in emergency situations
