Project Engineer

Boston Government Services, LLC. (BGS) is seeking a Project Engineer to support our client Los Alamos National Laboratory onsite in Los Alamos.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the engineering activity (all disciplines) on a project, or designated portions of a project, for a global business unit.
• Plan and direct engineering assignments on one or more projects.
• Demonstrate technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating these assignments.
• Work with multiple people across the install groups and various leaders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Progressive work experience, including supervision, preferably in project design engineering. Experience may include other relevant types of engineering including startup, field engineering or plant operation in large industrial plants, utilities, process plants or engineering/construction firms.
• Fluent in Microsoft 365 based products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams. Etc.)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE "Q" clearance.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Successful drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 12 or more years of progressive work experience, including supervision, preferably in project design engineering.
• Active Q clearance.
• Experience with Glovebox systems.
• NQA1 experience.
• Professional Engineer License.

Location/Work Arrangement:

The work arrangement for this position is a 4/10 6-week rotating shift onsite and located in Los Alamos, NM.
