Communications Specialist

Boston Government Services, LLC. (BGS) is seeking a Communication Specialist to join our team! This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with internal and external individuals, groups, or organizations by writing or selecting publicity material, releasing information through various communications channels including the media, preparing, and arranging displays, making speeches, and conducting interviews and workshops.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• BA/BS Degree plus 0 - 4 years of direct experience required, or MS with 0 - 3 years' experience.
• Individuals that do not have a BA or BS degree will be considered on a two (2) to one (1) basis; two (2) years' experience will equal one (1) year of education or possessing relevant task-specific years' experience deemed acceptable by the Client.
• Successful drug screening.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• BA/BS Degree in a technical discipline, plus 18 years plus of direct experience required, or an MS with 15 years' experience.
