About the position
We are looking for a high-energy and adaptable Territory Sales Representative to join our team in Runnemede, NJ. The ideal candidate for this role will be a results-driven individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. They will possess strong persuasive abilities, resilience in the face of rejection, and a proactive approach to achieving and exceeding targets.
This position will be the right fit for you if you are goal oriented, have excellent problem solving skills, industry knowledge, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Maintaining a positive attitude under pressure, and build lasting customer relationships through trust and credibility will make you successful in this role.
The expected schedule is Monday – Friday, with four field days, and one in-office day. Your salary will be between $50,000 - $60,000 depending on previous experience, plus commission.
Job Responsibilities
- Utilize Salesforce, Google, IB leads, and any other available material to find potential prospects that the “Interstate Batteries Dealer” profile
- Leverage existing book of business to find referral opportunities where applicable
- Spend four days in the field making a minimum of 40 in-person visits, weekly, to qualify and present to prospects
- Utilize out-bound phone calls and emails as tools to engage prospects
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and service cadence with prospects
- Use a combination of sales tactics and value propositions to build value in IB and close new business opportunities
- Track all field visits and electronic communication with prospects and dealers in Salesforce
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Valid driver’s license and the willingness to travel to prospect locations
- Must be 21 years
- Completion of background check
- Experience in Automotive Parts sales and industry knowledge
- Strong time management and active listening skills
- Ability to work in the field four days a week, one day in office
