Qualifications:To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements:
Education:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR LL.M., if related.
OR
Experience:
You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level. To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled.
Some examples of this qualifying experience are:
- Experience in developing schedules for subordinate employees, preparing entries for performance logs, approving leave, recommending incentive awards, recommending disciplinary actions, and hearing and resolving employee complaints and grievances.
- Experience which demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of medical care to all categories of patients in all patient areas.
- Experience in participating in the on-going process of implementing Health Service policies and procedures.

Combination of Education and Experience:
Equivalent combination of successfully completed graduate education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.
