YARD COORDINATOR SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for organizing and packaging signs for outgoing shipments and deliveries.
- Operate a forklift/lift truck to load/unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility.
- Operating hand power tools, hydraulic power tools, and heavy power tools.
- Keep the yard and facility clean and free of clutter.
- Organize outdoor inventory.
- Routine maintenance on vehicles and perform inspections.
- Maintain all P.P.E. and use in appropriate manner.
- Making pallets and crates out of material in facility.
- Fill out work instructions and timecards.
- Record material usage and report excessive waste.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in a shop/yard environment.
- Understanding of P.P.E. and shop safety.
- Experience with Shipping & Receiving.
- Proven track record of acceptable attendance.
- Be able to lift 25-50 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
- Be able to operate a pallet jack and forklift.
- Ability to work mostly outdoors.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience with metal and wood working.
- Must be able to meet or exceed all safety requirements of Bootz & Duke in additional to all OSHA guidelines.
- Must have auto/truck mechanical skills.
- Experience with DOT regulations.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, not required.
- Full-Time Position: 40 hours per week.
- Pay Range is $19.00 to $25.00 Depending on Experience.
