• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
• Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff to ensure a high-performing team aligned with company standards.
• Manage employee schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and facilitate ongoing training & development initiatives.
• Monitor inventory levels, perform stock replenishment, and coordinate purchasing to optimize product availability.
• Implement merchandising strategies to enhance product presentation and drive sales growth.
• Utilize POS systems for sales processing, pricing adjustments, and transaction accuracy.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Conduct regular audits of cash registers, bookkeeping records, and inventory control procedures.
• Develop marketing initiatives within the store to attract new customers and boost sales.
• Manage payroll processes, budgeting activities, and administrative tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work culture.
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for diverse customer bases.
• Demonstrated expertise in retail math, sales management, pricing strategies, and inventory control.
• Experience with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and cash handling protocols.
• Skilled in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and conducting training sessions.
• Knowledge of employee orientation practices and store merchandising techniques.
• Ability to manage budgets, perform bookkeeping tasks, and handle administrative responsibilities efficiently.
• Familiarity with marketing strategies relevant to retail settings; experience in wireless sales or grocery stores is advantageous.
