Key Responsibilities- Design and implement sophisticated estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning strategies
- Advise high-net-worth clients on income tax, corporate tax, and wealth transfer planning matters
- Structure planning for business owners, family businesses, and closely held entities
- Counsel clients on trusts, business succession, charitable planning, and asset preservation strategies
- Review and optimize existing estate plans from a tax-efficiency perspective
- Collaborate with attorneys, accountants, financial advisors, and fiduciaries on integrated planning solutions
- Serve as an internal resource on evolving tax code developments and advanced planning opportunities
- Significant experience in estate planning with substantial tax planning depth
- Strong working knowledge of federal tax code as it relates to estate, gift, income, and business planning
- Background representing high-net-worth individuals, business owners, or private wealth clients
- Experience with sophisticated trust structures, entity planning, and wealth transfer strategies
- LL.M. in Taxation and/or CPA strongly valued, though not required for candidates with exceptional practical experience
- Strong drafting, analytical, and client advisory skills
- Technical, strategic, and solutions-oriented
- Comfortable handling sophisticated planning matters independently
- Strong communicator who can simplify complex tax concepts for clients
