Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all phases of family law matters, including divorce, custody disputes, support, and domestic violence cases
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Appear in court for hearings, settlement conferences, and trials
- Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively on behalf of clients
- Maintain detailed and organized case files and client communications
- Collaborate with legal support staff and other attorneys within the firm
- Manage a reasonable caseload with an emphasis on quality over quantity
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active California Bar license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in family law or civil litigation
