The firm handles a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and family offense proceedings, and is looking for someone who is confident, personable, and motivated to grow as a litigator. Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, stipulations, and discovery demands/responses
- Appear in court for conferences, motions, hearings, and related proceedings
- Participate in client consultations, intake meetings, and case strategy discussions
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel professionally and effectively
- Manage multiple active litigation matters while maintaining organized digital files
- Assist clients through emotionally sensitive and high-conflict family law matters
- Work collaboratively with the legal team while taking ownership of assigned files
Qualifications
- 1 years of family law or litigation experience required
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and interested in courtroom advocacy
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
- Professional, assertive, and client-focused demeanor
- Calm under pressure and comfortable handling conflict professionally
