Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Digital Commerce plays a critical role in shaping and executing Bonduelle’s eCommerce and omni-channel retail strategy across Retailer.com, Marketplace, Social Commerce, and Retailer Digital Ecosystems.
This position blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution—owning day-to-day performance across key digital and omni-channel retail partners such Walmart, Costco, Target and Kroger, last-mile delivery partners such as Instacart, DoorDash and Uber Eats, marketplaces such as Walmart Marketplace and Amazon FBA, and emerging social commerce platforms like TikTok Shop.
The Sr. Manager will serve as the connective link between brand marketing, shopper activation, and sales execution—driving digital shelf excellence, retail media ROI, sales velocities and a seamless path to purchase across all retailer modalities.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Commerce
- Partner with the VP Commercial Strategy to define and execute Bonduelle’s digital commerce and omni-channel retail strategy across Retailer.com, Marketplaces, and Social Commerce platforms.
- Lead advancement of digital category and customer planning for omni-channel retail partners, ensuring a connected congruent consumer experience across digital sales channels and fulfillment models (click & collect, delivery to home, ship to home, etc), partnering with brick & mortar team for holistic customer, category and shopper planning.
- Build annual growth and activation plans that integrate digital shelf, retail media, and in-store activity for total customer impact.
- Collaborate with the Omni-Channel Activation team to design full-funnel strategies linking awareness, conversion, and retention through retailer and social ecosystems.
- Develop digital version of DSMPs (distribution, “shelving,” merchandising and pricing)
- Act with a general manager mindset, understanding P&L dynamics and cross-functional collaboration needed to deliver profitable volume growth.
Marketplace & Social Commerce Growth
- Drive marketplace expansion including Walmart Marketplace and TikTok Shop, developing profitable assortment, pricing and promotional strategies.
- Partner with Omni activation team delivery media-to-shelf campaigns that nurture brand discovery, trial and retention.
- Lead delivery of retail-ready, mobile-first content optimized for conversion across all retailer and social platforms.
Digital Shelf & Conversion Optimization
- Own digital shelf excellence—ensuring optimized content, imagery, copy, ratings & reviews, and SEO/SEM performance.
- Leverage platforms such as Syndigo, Salsify, etc to manage product data, monitor search performance, and improve conversion.
- Partner with agencies to tailor and optimize PDPs, A content for retailer and product nuances.
Analytics, Forecasting & Performance Tracking
- Develop KPIs and analyze digital sales channels performance —measuring sales velocity, traffic, share-of-search, ROAS, conversion rate, new-to-brand, etc.
- Translate insights into actionable growth plans for assortment, pricing, and media optimization.
- Collaborate with Customer Sales Teams, Finance and Demand Planning to forecast digital demand and ensure product availability across omni-channel networks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the internal champion for digital commerce, upskilling cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate closely with retail sales teams to ensure digital strategies complement in-store execution and JBP priorities.
- Manage agency and technology partners to ensure flawless execution, reporting accuracy, and continuous optimization.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required
- 6–8 years of experience in Digital Commerce, eCommerce Marketing, or Omni-Channel Retail, ideally within CPG or retailer; Food & beverage or grocery experience preferred
- Deep understanding of the full omni-channel ecosystem
- Hands-on experience managing the business for Amazon FBA, Walmart Marketplace, TikTok Shop
- Strong proficiency in retail media networks, digital shelf management, SEO/SEM, and eCommerce analytics.
- Experience with Syndigo, MikMak as well as tagging and UTMs a plus.
- Experience managing agencies, partners, and cross-functional teams in fast-paced, data-driven environments.
- Entrepreneurial, agile mindset with strong commercial acumen and bias for action.
