Position Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician supports the Maintenance team by ensuring equipment and building systems operate safely and efficiently. This is an experienced-level role working across multiple areas of the facility, including a refrigerated production environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety, GMP, PPE, HACCP, and sanitation guidelines
- Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on facility equipment, furnishings, fixtures, and finishes
- Complete the facility services portion of work orders accurately and on time
- Safely work around moving equipment and conveyors in wet and cold environments
- Assist with minor building moves and facility adjustments
- Coordinate and support contractors and vendors performing repairs, maintenance, or building moves
- Maintain tool and parts inventory needed to complete work
- Assist with building inspections and audits
- Read and understand MSDS/SDS documentation for chemicals and cleaners
- Communicate clearly (verbally and in writing) and complete required documentation
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
- Support other maintenance technicians and departments as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- GED or High School Diploma
- Ability to read, write, and speak English; basic math skills required
- Willingness to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced, 24-hour plant environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Basic understanding of production, quality, and safety KPIs
- Experience or background in electrical, plumbing, and/or HVAC preferred
- Ability to safely use manual tools, power tools, ladders, testing equipment, and common paints/lacquers
- Comfortable working with management and cross-functional teams
Physical Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, this position entails use of ladders and catwalks to reach production equipment, regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to extreme cold for extended periods of time. The associate frequently works in high, precarious places. The associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Compensation & Benefits:
