Job Summary:

The purpose of this position is to interact with guests and ensure they have a wonderful experience while dining at Bondi. Servers are responsible for overseeing all aspects of service on the floor. Servers are expected to be knowledgeable, attentive to guests' needs, and always leading with “Omotenashi.”

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Always high energy, positive and guest minded.
• Be a menu tour guide for guests, especially first-time diners.
• Perform tasks as assigned.
• Communicate with Sushi/Hot line Chefs regarding food quality and availability.
• Clean and prepare tables and seats.
• Possess knowledge of the current menu, specials, and 86'd items.
• Direct guests to seats, present menus, and address guests' needs.
• Greet all guests warmly with an appropriate greeting, such as "Welcome to Bondi".
• Be ready and willing to assist other members of the team as needed.
• Keep the dining room clean and maintain ambiance.
• Keep restrooms clean and stocked with necessary supplies every 30 minutes.
• Check ID for alcoholic drink orders.
• Inquire about guest allergies and update on POS.
• Continuously check in with guests, refill beverages, and offer more food.
• Clear dishes as you go.
• Offer dessert and after-dinner drinks.

Qualifications:

• Ability to maintain a productive and welcoming work environment.
• Strong communication skills to assist guests with inquiries.
• Understanding of all common food allergies.
• Server experience (Sushi Preferred)
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Knowledge of POS systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
