Job Description
The Manager is the executive of the restaurant. As the team member who spends the most time in the restaurant, you will play an integral role in the growth and day-to-day success of our Columbia location. You are responsible for ensuring that all brand standards, culinary procedures, and local compliance metrics are upheld and followed.
Responsibilities
- Communicate all necessary information clearly and effectively to team members.
- Record weekly inventory of restaurant food, specialty sauces, and physical supplies.
- Manage shifts, stepping in to assist front of house as needed.
- Interview and hire potential team members to maintain optimal store staffing.
- Enforce operational checklists daily, including opening/closing, temperature tracking, prep math, and safety guidelines.
- Organize inventory in an orderly, efficient manner within the restaurant.
- Handle guest complaints professionally to protect the store's local reputation.
- Create employee schedules that optimize labor targets while respecting staff availability.
- Conduct disciplinary actions on team members and coach underperforming employees when necessary.

- Place vendor food orders for scheduled deliveries to the restaurant.
- Record weekly inventory of restaurant food, specialty sauces, and physical supplies.
- Manage open, mid-day, and closing shifts, stepping in to assist front or back of house as needed.
- Interview and hire potential team members to maintain optimal store staffing.
- Enforce operational checklists daily, including opening/closing, temperature tracking, prep math, and safety guidelines.
- Organize inventory and smallwares in an orderly, efficient manner within the restaurant.
- Handle guest complaints professionally to protect the store's local reputation.
- Create employee schedules that optimize labor targets while respecting staff availability.
- Conduct disciplinary actions on team members and coach underperforming employees when necessary.
- Train Staff to ensure quality of service is up to standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2 years of management experience.
- Physical Demands: Ability to remain in an upright stationary position for eight plus hours a day.
- Task Management: Ability to change stationary positions frequently and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing food costs, labor percentages, and physical inventory.
- License: Active ServSafe Manager certification required.
