Are you seeking a role where your organizational skills and attention to detail can make a meaningful impact? As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a key role in transportation planning, customer support, and overall operational success. With a hybrid schedule and exposure to multiple business functions, this position offers both variety and opportunities for professional growth.
In this role, you will be responsible for tracking railcar locations and movements, entering key operational data – including deliveries and status changes – into Salesforce, and managing large volumes of internal and external railcar data in Microsoft Excel. Strong communication skills are essential for success in this position. You will assist the mechanical team with customer inquiries, provide administrative support for monthly customer prospecting activities, and support the sales and operations teams with internal applications. You will also assist the accounting team by tracking and auditing freight and storage costs, while completing ad hoc administrative projects assigned by internal management.
