Are you energized by leading complex projects that reshape how organization’s operate? This year-long HR Project Manager contract offers the opportunity to guide a major HR systems and process transition, bringing structure, clarity, and collaboration to a high-impact initiative.
In this role, you’ll help lead the transition of a federal-level HR administration program, coordinating work across HR and IT to ensure a smooth experience for employees, managers, and HR partners. You’ll develop project scopes and milestones, guide cross-functional execution, and play a key role in determining the timing and rollout of the Workday Absence module. This project also serves as the primary relationship manager with a third-party provider supporting the implementation.
Beyond project coordination, you’ll support data integration, communication, and change management efforts across the organization. That includes translating leave policies and codes into system requirements, partnering with IT and external vendors to ensure accurate integration, and working closely with internal communications to assess change impacts and support readiness, go-live, and stabilization planning.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need exceptional organization, strong attention to detail, and the ability to translate technical concepts for HR and leadership stakeholders. You’re comfortable navigating complex systems, building cross-team relationships, and helping people move confidently through change.
This hybrid role is based in the heart of downtown Vancouver, within walking distance of farmers’ markets, parks, and a variety of local restaurants and shops.
