Role Description The Heating Air Conditioning Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Fairburn, GA. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in industrial facilities. Daily tasks include diagnosing system issues, performing routine and preventive maintenance, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. The technician will work with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components, read and interpret technical drawings, and follow safety and regulatory requirements. Collaboration with project managers, contractors, and team members is expected to ensure timely completion of jobs and high-quality service for clients.
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting skills for HVAC systems, including diagnostics and problem resolution.
- Knowledge of electricity and electrical components related to HVAC equipment and controls.
- Experience with plumbing tasks associated with HVAC installations, such as piping and drainage.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance on heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
- EPA certification.
- Familiarity with industrial HVAC systems and mechanical equipment is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Commitment to safety practices and compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or HVAC trade school is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work on-site in varying weather and physical conditions.
