- Direct the operation of a nursing unit in a long-term care setting.
- Oversee hiring, disciplining, and evaluating care team members.
- Facilitate meetings to address resident care issues.
- Manage staffing, census, and resource allocation to ensure quality care.
- Participate in staff development, recruitment, and training programs.
- Coordinate with physicians for timely interventions.
- Monitor clinical operations and resident conditions to maintain high standards of care.
- Ensure availability of medications, supplies, and medical records.
- Assist in onboarding new personnel and supervise care procedures.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
- Active LPN or RN license in the state of employment.
- Three years of nursing experience, including at least one year in long-term care.
- CPR certification preferred; must obtain and maintain CPR license if not already licensed.
- Leadership in managing nursing staff and operations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
