The role involves developing personalized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities include educating patients and caregivers, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring a safe, compliant treatment environment.
- Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders using standardized assessments and clinical observations.
- Design and adjust individualized therapy programs based on patient progress and evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and provide education to patients and families on communication strategies and safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed documentation in electronic medical records and adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
- Engage in professional development and quality assurance activities to stay current with best practices.
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license per state regulations
- Current BLS certification
- Preferred: Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, and relevant experience; new grads are welcome.
