Travel Stepdown RN
Role & Responsibilities: Provide specialized care to patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units, monitor cardiac rhythms, administer medications, assist with cardiac procedures, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care.
Maintain patient safety, document assessments, respond to emergencies, educate patients on cardiac health, and adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
Perform duties within scope, including equipment preparation and supporting multidisciplinary efforts.
Qualifications & Skills: Require at least one year of recent Stepdown RN experience, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred certifications include PCCN and NIHSS.
Must demonstrate critical thinking, interpersonal, technical, and physical abilities, along with effective communication and the capacity to handle high-pressure situations.
Key Duties: Monitor telemetry data, manage complex patient needs, administer treatments, respond to emergencies, document patient conditions, and educate patients on cardiac health.
Ensure safety protocols, collaborate with teams, and maintain confidentiality.
