- Serve as a liaison to communicate major occurrences and unit needs to management.
- Mentor new staff and participate in performance evaluations.
- Assess patient and family needs, develop care plans, and evaluate care delivery.
- Delegate tasks to optimize patient outcomes, ensuring adherence to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
- 2-year degree and current Kansas RN licensure.
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS certification as required for the unit.
- Preferred: 4-year degree and experience in similar healthcare settings.
