Medical Examiner

Role: Senior Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) responsible for conducting FAA flight physicals and aeromedical evaluations for pilots and aviation personnel.

Key Duties

• Perform detailed medical history reviews and physical examinations to assess fitness for flight duties.
• Interpret diagnostic and laboratory results, document findings per FAA and clinic protocols.
• Coordinate with clinic staff and contribute to case discussions on complex medical and mental health cases.
• Provide guidance to pilots regarding certification status and follow-up care, ensuring safety and compliance.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Existing designation as Senior Aviation Medicine Examiner, preferably with HIMS experience.
• Strong foundation in Aviation Medicine, military or flight surgeon experience preferred.
• Current Utah medical license or actively pursuing licensure.
• Knowledge of FAA medical standards, aviation safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ethical documentation skills.
