Essential Functions
- Obtain high-quality breast images for radiologist interpretation during screening and diagnostic studies.
- Assist radiologists with stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies.
- Assess patients by reviewing previous studies and medical history to determine screening versus diagnostic needs.
- Provide radiation protection following standards to minimize exposure while maintaining image quality.
- Offer clinical instruction to student and staff technologists.
- Stay informed about departmental updates and changes.
- Perform additional departmental duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.
- Two years of mammography experience.
- ARRT-Radiology and ARRT-Mammo registration.
- Registration in Mammography, Ultrasound, and/or Bone Density.
- SCRQSA certification (required in South Carolina).
- Proficient in screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasound, and guided biopsies.
- Ability to stay current with new procedures through education and reading.
- Basic computer skills.
