- Planning, coordinating, and implementing exercise and rehab programs for inpatients and outpatients
- Conducting assessments and a variety of non-invasive cardiac and pulmonary tests
- Providing medically prescribed cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation to restore function and prevent disability
- Helping patients achieve optimal functioning and adapt to their health conditions
- Following guidelines from AACVPR and ACSM, and contributing to procedural improvements
- Collaborating with internal and external contacts to exchange information tactfully and professionally
- Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field
- Current ACLS and CPR certifications; ACLS within three months of hire
- Two or more years of experience in cardiac and pulmonary rehab; knowledge of telemetry systems preferred
- Certification from ACSM as an Exercise Specialist or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist is preferred
- Must pass hospital arrhythmia test within three months of employment
- Strong knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation practices
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement patient-centered rehab programs
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safety, innovation, and cost-effective procedures
