- Planning, coordinating, and implementing exercise and rehab programs for inpatients and outpatients.
- Assessing and treating patients, performing non-invasive cardiac and pulmonary tests.
- Organizing medically prescribed rehabilitation services to restore function and prevent disability.
- Helping patients achieve maximum functioning and adapt to their health conditions.
- Following guidelines from AACVPR and ACSM, and improving work procedures.
- Engaging with internal and external contacts professionally.
- Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
- Current CPR and ACLS certifications; ACLS within first three months.
- Two or more years of experience in cardiac and pulmonary rehab.
- Preferred certifications include ACSM Exercise Specialist or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist.
- Knowledge of telemetry systems is a plus.
- Strong assessment and program development skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
