Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Brazer/Assembler to join our manufacturing team. - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble components
- Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and
welding techniques to join sheet metal and pipe sections - Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and press brake machines to shape and measure materials with precision
- Fabricate ductwork, piping, and other metal assemblies according to ASME codes & standards
- Operate plasma cutters, machining equipment, and perform sheet metal cutting tasks safely and efficiently
- Conduct rigging and pipe threading operations for assembly or installation projects
- Maintain a clean work environment by adhering to safety protocols and inspecting equipment regularly
Experience
- Proven construction site experience or manufacturing background involving metal fabrication or assembly
- Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, and
welding techniques with a strong understanding of welding safety standards - Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, mechanical drawings, and basic math for measurements and calculations
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication processes
- Ability to operate forklifts or similar machinery is a plus but not required
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in ductwork installation or pipe threading is highly desirable
