Position Overview
The Chief Operations Manager will lead and optimize all operational functions across Bodaq Finishes’ North American business. This executive role is responsible for ensuring seamless operations across sales support, supply chain, logistics, installation coordination, customer experience, and internal administration. The ideal candidate will drive operational scalability, improve efficiency, ensure compliance, and support rapid growth.
- Oversee daily operations, including order processing and distribution
- Develop and implement operational strategies to support business growth and market expansion across the U.S.
- Establish and monitor KPIs related to sales operations, project delivery timelines, and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure operational alignment with revenue goals
- Improve internal workflows for project management, including large-scale commercial installations
- Manage vendor relationships, including installers, distributors, and logistics providers
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives to maximize profitability
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and industry regulations
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation tools, and ERP/CRM systems
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing operations team
- Oversee HR functions, including hiring processes, onboarding, employee relations, and policy implementation
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and employment regulations across jurisdictions
- Review, draft, and manage contracts, agreements, and legal documents in alignment with company policies
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, partners, and service providers in the best interest of the company
- Execute and sign agreements on behalf of the company within delegated authority
- Work closely with external legal counsel on risk management, compliance, and dispute resolution
- Maintain and enforce internal policies, procedures, and corporate governance standards
- Represent Bodaq Finishes at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings
- Coordinate and support the planning and execution of trade shows in collaboration with marketing and sales teams
- Identify opportunities for brand exposure, partnerships, and business development through events
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8–12 years of experience in operations leadership, ideally in construction materials, interior finishes, or architectural products
- Strong understanding of supply chain, logistics, and project-based operations
- Proven experience scaling operations in a growing company
- Experience working with international suppliers and distribution networks
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and cost optimization
- Experience with contract negotiation and exposure to labor laws and HR practices
