We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and fast-paced Food Runner/Expo to join our restaurant team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring food is delivered accurately, efficiently, and with urgency while maintaining communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff.

The ideal candidate works well under pressure, stays organized during busy shifts, and takes pride in maintaining a smooth and efficient service flow.

Responsibilities

• Run food quickly and accurately to guests
• Verify all plates are complete and match tickets before leaving the kitchen
• Assist with organizing and managing the expo line during service
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and servers
• Ensure proper presentation and quality of food before it reaches guests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo area
• Restock plates, sauces, to-go supplies, and other service items as needed
• Assist servers and hosts during busy periods
• Help maintain a clean dining room and kitchen support areas
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Assisting guests with their dining needs as needed
• Extremely organized and hard working
• Able to focus and think ahead
• Providing accurate food orders and ensuring that all orders are served quickly and accurately
• Servicing our very popular menu in the kitchen
• Keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and sanitized

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience preferred but not required
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to carry trays and lift up to 40 lbs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Requirements:
- Food Handler's Certification (not required but does help)
