Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist team members with administrative and project support tasks such as filing, data entry, organizing documents, and preparing materials.
- Observe and participate in department activities to learn how a commercial and industrial general contractor operates.
- Support meeting preparation, including gathering materials and taking notes.
- Help maintain organized workspaces, files, and project records.
- Complete assigned learning projects and present key takeaways at the end of the internship.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with employees, supervisors, and visitors.
- Follow all Bobbitt safety guidelines and procedures at all times, especially in jobsite or shop settings.
- Currently enrolled as a high school student (junior standing or as defined by your school program).
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn, with a positive and professional attitude.
- Able to follow instructions, ask questions, and work well as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills (email and word processing) are helpful but not required.
- A genuine interest in construction, business, or the trades is a plus.
Travel Requirements
- Minimal travel; any local travel to a jobsite or company event is arranged and supervised by Bobbitt staff
- May occasionally require lifting and moving objects up to 25 lbs.
- Requires periods of walking and standing
