What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Plant Associate position at Bob Sumerel Tire Co.?
Bob Sumerel Tire Company is looking to enhance our Erlanger, KY manufacturing plant with talented, hard-working individuals in the repair and retreading of commercial truck tires.
Opportunities are available for first shift work in this industrial/manufacturing setting using manual and automated equipment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Running state of the art manufacturing machinery
- Apply rubber compounds to tires
- Grinding with automatic tooling equipment
- Enveloping and finishing product into and out of large curing chambers
Qualifications and Skills
- Follow all safety procedures
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must thrive in a fast-paced, results oriented team environment
- Must be goal oriented and able to consistently meet quality and production requirements
- Ability to follow instructions
- MUST BE HIGHLY MOTIVATED
- Able to pass a background check
- Starting time 6:00 a.m.
