Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 / hour

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and code vendor invoices to the correct accounts. Match invoices to purchase orders and repair orders to ensure accuracy before posting.

• Schedule and execute payments via checks or electronic transfers (ACH). Monitor deadlines to avoid late fees and take advantage of early payment discounts.

• Reconcile vendor statements monthly and resolve any billing discrepancies or disputes promptly.

• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial records and reports.

• Assist with month-end closing procedures, calculate sales tax on paid invoices, and provide documentation for audits.

• Act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries regarding payment status and account issues.

• Assist with tag & title work

• Other accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

• Previous experience in accounts payable or general bookkeeping. Automotive dealership experience is strongly preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience with dealership management systems (DMS) or accounting software like QuickBooks.

• Extreme attention to detail, strong math skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-energy, collaborative team environment.
