What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Grounds Crew (Student) position at Bob Jones University?
SUMMARY: Assist grounds staff in upkeep of campus grounds.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Landscape watering
- Irrigation repair
- Hardscape Cleaning
- Cleaning and dusting reachable exterior building windows and doors
- Cleaning and waxing exterior fixtures
- Street and sidewalk cleaning
- Trash clean up
- General campus clean up
- Storm clean up
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University or Academy
- Must be a least 16 years old
- Good work ethic
- Student will be allowed a total of 10 days of vacation
- Possibility of allergic environment should be considered
- Must occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
- Valid Drivers License is helpful
