Furniture Delivery & Warehouse Associate – Temporary with Opportunity for Permanent Position

Boaz Discount Furniture is looking for a dependable, hardworking Furniture Delivery & Warehouse Associate to join our team.

This position will begin as a temporary position, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate based on performance, dependability and business needs.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, physically capable of safely moving furniture and respectful when working in customers’ homes. We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing a job correctly and works well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload furniture safely
• Assist with furniture deliveries to customers’ homes
• Carry and properly place furniture in customers’ homes
• Assemble and set up furniture when needed
• Handle merchandise carefully to prevent damage
• Protect customers’ homes and belongings during deliveries
• Help receive and organize incoming merchandise
• Keep the warehouse and delivery areas clean and organized
• Provide courteous and professional customer service
• Assist with other store and warehouse duties as needed

• Physically able to safely lift and move heavy furniture
• Able to work well with a delivery partner and other team members
• Careful and respectful when working inside customers’ homes
• Furniture delivery, moving, warehouse or assembly experience is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required if driving the company vehicle
• Must be available to work Saturdays

Hours are 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, five days per week, including Saturday.

Pay is negotiable based on experience.
