Job Summary
This is a part time job for every Wednesday from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm and every other Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. It will be for counter sales and also floor reset for furniture with heavy lifting and truck loading. Need to be good with the public.
Duties
- Manage inventory control using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to track stock levels accurately
- Conduct manual handling of furniture and materials while adhering to safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent injuries
- Support order fulfillment by picking, packing, and organizing items for customer orders with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by stocking shelves, managing materials handling equipment operation, and ensuring proper placement of inventory
Requirements
- Proven warehouse experience with knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, and materials handling
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following manual handling guidelines and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively within a team
