We are seeking a Senior Research Knowledge Manager – Life Sciences to lead and elevate our market intelligence, search strategy, and client advisory capabilities within the Raleigh-Durham life sciences ecosystem.
This is a high-impact, client-facing leadership role at the intersection of business development, executive search delivery, and market insight. The position plays a critical role in shaping talent strategies for leading organizations across biotech, biopharma, medical devices, and advanced manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Client Advisory & Commercial Leadership
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior clients on talent strategy, organizational design, and market dynamics
- Lead client engagements, discovery sessions, and search kick-offs
- Partner with business development to expand key accounts and generate new opportunities
- Support proposal development, scope definition, and offer strategy
Search Strategy & Market Intelligence
- Design and lead executive search strategies for complex and senior roles
- Develop market maps, talent insights, and compensation benchmarks
- Translate industry trends into actionable intelligence for clients and internal teams
- Maintain deep expertise in the Raleigh-Durham life sciences ecosystem
Candidate Evaluation & Delivery Excellence
- Lead executive-level candidate assessments and interviews
- Ensure high-quality shortlists and client-ready deliverables
- Advise clients on hiring trade-offs and market realities
Team Leadership
- Mentor and develop research and delivery teams
- Drive best practices in search execution, quality, and timelines
- Foster collaboration across research, consulting, and business development

Candidate Profile
Required
- Proven experience in executive search or talent advisory at a senior level
- Strong exposure to the life sciences sector, ideally within U.S. markets
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex searches end-to-end
- Client-facing experience with a consultative and commercial mindset
- Experience leading or mentoring teams
- Fluent English (Spanish highly valued)
Preferred
- Strong network in the Raleigh-Durham / Research Triangle ecosystem
- Experience in engineering or technical environments within life sciences
- Degree in Engineering, Science, or related field
