Position Summary:
We are a fast-growing company specialized in the distribution, marketing, and commercialization of refrigerated, frozen, and grocery products across multiple channels. With decades of experience and a strong operational infrastructure, we are expanding into the U.S. market and seeking a Key Account Manager to lead the development of strategic retail accounts in the Orlando area.
This role is responsible for driving sales growth, managing key retail relationships, and executing commercial strategies across major national accounts. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with strong analytical skills, retail expertise, and the ability to operate in a dynamic and competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth within assigned retail customers.
- Manage relationships with key buyers and decision-makers across major retail chains.
- Lead all aspects of account management including forecasting, pricing, promotions, and assortment planning.
- Utilize retailer data platforms (e.g., Retail Link or equivalent) to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and optimize sales strategies)
- Drive distribution expansion, shelf presence, and promotional execution at store level.
- Collaborate with internal teams (supply chain, marketing, finance) to ensure service levels and business objectives are met.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer insights to inform business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with retailer requirements, contracts, and operational processes.
- Prepare and present business reviews, sales reports, and growth initiatives to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Key Account Management, preferably within CPG, food distribution, or retail industry.
- Proven experience managing large retail accounts (e.g., mass, club, or drug channels).
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with retail data systems (Retail Link preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence, and build long-term customer relationships.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel within the Orlando market and surrounding areas as needed.
Language Requirement:
- Fully bilingual: Spanish and English (required).
