About This Opportunity
Blumberg Capital is recruiting a Founding Account Executive on behalf of one of our portfolio companies, a high-momentum, early-stage AI infrastructure startup backed by Blumberg Capital and Gradient Ventures (Google's AI fund), with advisors and operators from OpenAI, ServiceNow, and SentinelOne.
This company is building the secure infrastructure layer for computer-use agents, the enterprise-grade platform that lets technical teams deploy AI agents safely, at scale, and in compliance with the security and regulatory requirements of industries like finance, healthcare, and enterprise SaaS.
2026 is the breakout year for computer-use agents. OpenAI and Anthropic are each investing heavily in this space. This company is positioned at the center of that shift — and they are looking for the person who will help them define how they grow.
The Role
This is not a "join an existing sales org" opportunity. This is a ground-floor, founding sales role where you will work directly with the CEO to build the GTM engine from scratch - defining who they sell to, how they sell, and what winning looks like.
You will own the full sales cycle end-to-end, from outbound and pipeline creation through close, selling into CTOs, Heads of AI, engineering leaders, and technical founders at mid-market and enterprise companies.
The product is technical. The buyers are sophisticated. The deals are complex. And the opportunity to shape a category-defining company from the inside is real.
What You Will Do
- Own and drive the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting through close
- Build pipeline from zero through strategic outbound, networking, and account development
- Sell directly to CTOs, Heads of AI, Engineering Leaders, and technical founders
- Lead consultative discovery conversations around AI adoption, agent deployment, and technical infrastructure
- Close mid-five and six-figure enterprise contracts
- Partner directly with the founding team to shape messaging, positioning, and product feedback
- Build repeatable GTM processes, sales playbooks, and early sales culture
- Act as the voice of the customer and a strategic partner as the company scales
What We Are Looking For
- 4 to 12 years of enterprise technology sales experience, with a consistent track record of top performance
- Proven experience closing six-figure contracts with technical buyers
- Direct experience selling to CTOs, Heads of AI, Engineering Leaders, or technical product teams
- Strong understanding of AI, infrastructure, developer tools, or technical platforms
- Previous experience as an early or founding sales hire — you have built from zero before
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong ownership mentality
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and wearing multiple hats
- Strong executive presence and consultative selling skills
- Experience navigating complex enterprise buying cycles
- Requirement: East Coast based
Nice to Have
- Experience selling AI infrastructure, developer tools, security, or data platforms
- Existing network within the NYC startup or enterprise tech ecosystem
