Join the team at Roma Pizza! We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused Front Desk Cashier / Server to help keep our fast-paced operation running smoothly. This full-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a team environment, and takes pride in creating an exceptional guest experience.
As the first point of contact for our guests, you'll play a key role in coordinating the flow of service between the front and back of house, ensuring orders are entered accurately, guests are well cared for, and daily operations run efficiently. This role naturally requires strong initiative, organization, and the ability to confidently communicate with both team members and guests.
Full-time position available. Weekend availability is required.
What You'll Do
- Greet guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude
- Accurately enter and process orders using the POS system
- Coordinate order flow and communicate clearly with the kitchen team
- Maintain an organized and efficient front-of-house operation
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and daily register responsibilities
- Assist guests with menu questions and suggestive selling opportunities
- Support teammates during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations
- Help maintain cleanliness, food safety standards, and a positive work environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cashiering, serving, hospitality, or restaurant operations
- Strong understanding of POS systems and selling techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a passion for guest satisfaction
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team
- Basic math skills for cash handling and register balancing
- Knowledge of food safety and handling practices
- Comfortable taking initiative and helping guide daily workflow when needed
- Weekend availability required
