The IT Systems Integration Specialist I supports laboratory operations and IT infrastructure, primarily providing technical support, troubleshooting, and assisting with system implementations in a laboratory setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between laboratory and IT teams for technical coordination
- Provide onsite support for system setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Conduct hardware and software validation, testing, and stabilization post-implementation
- Perform preventative maintenance on workstations, printers, scanners, and lab equipment
- Support user account provisioning, asset inventory management, and incident investigation
- Associate's Degree
- At least 1 year of experience in a laboratory environment and IT support/infrastructure
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality protocols
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and on-call support
