Refrigeration Technician

Role Overview: This position involves maintaining and troubleshooting refrigeration, boiler, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation within a food production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, perform preventive maintenance, and repair refrigeration, boiler, and HVAC systems.
• Participate in activities related to the ammonia Process Safety Management (PSM) program, including training, system reviews, and documentation.
• Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be 18 or older.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Experience in industrial/utilities operations or an equivalent technical degree.
• Knowledge of compressed air systems and ability to train and be certified in Hazmat Level A Entry.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Industrial ammonia refrigeration certification or related experience, or wastewater licenses.
• Previous utility maintenance experience in the food and beverage industry.
• Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration, Ludell hot water systems, and CARO/CIRO qualifications.
