Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support production operations by troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment. The role ensures machines run safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
1. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and production equipment
2. Perform preventive maintenance and routine lubrication schedules
3. Set up machines for production and assist with changeovers and adjustments
4. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
5. Identify and replace faulty components in machinery and systems
6. Operate maintenance shop equipment (mills, lathes, drill presses) to repair or fabricate parts
7. Install and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and air systems
8. Complete maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation accurately
9. Follow all safety standards and maintain a clean work environment
10. Support continuous improvement and additional maintenance tasks as needed
Requirements
1. High School Diploma or Technical School preferred
2. 5 years of equipment maintenance experience (or equivalent)
3. Experience with production machinery troubleshooting and repair (minimum 2 years required)
4. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and basic electrical systems
5. Ability to read schematics and blueprints
6. Familiarity with PLCs, motors, AC/DC drives, and control systems (preferred)
7. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures and at heights
