Position: Litigation Paralegal – Hybrid Role (Waynesburg, PA)
About the Role
We are supporting a law firm seeking a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal for a full-time hybrid position. This role involves supporting attorneys on complex litigation matters, managing case files, coordinating discovery, preparing legal documents, and assisting with hearings, depositions, and trial preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, prioritize, and manage attorney tasks and case workflows
- Maintain detailed case files, databases, and documentation
- Coordinate and oversee the full discovery process
- Draft motions, pleadings, affidavits, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence
- Conduct research on rules, procedures, and filing requirements
- Prepare exhibits, binders, and materials for hearings, depositions, and trials
- Communicate with attorneys, clients, court staff, and opposing counsel
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience
- Strong background in commercial litigation; exposure to federal litigation, class actions, or appeals is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; a paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program is ideal
- Experience handling multi-jurisdictional cases
- Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills
- Highly organized, proactive, and tech-savvy; skilled with legal technology, e-discovery, and case management tools
