Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals according to menus and dietary guidelines
- Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and food temperatures
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean kitchen and assist with routine cleaning tasks
- Prepare special diet and texture-modified foods
- Assist with food storage, labeling, and inventory
- Support the dietary team to ensure timely meal service
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 2 years of cooking experience in large-scale or healthcare settings (preferred)
- Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, and infection control
- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work evening hours consistently
- Meaningful work in a resident-centered environment
