We are hiring Activities Assistants to join our team at a skilled nursing facility. This is your chance to make a positive impact in the lives of residents by helping lead fun, engaging, and meaningful daily activities.
Schedule:
Full-Time Staff: 11 am-6:00pm (non-flexible, scheduled hours); full-time staff eligible for benefits
Responsibilities
Assist with planning and leading daily activities including crafts, games, music, group outings, and special events
Encourage residents to participate in both group and one-on-one activities
Help maintain a monthly calendar of activities and events
Assist with documenting resident participation when trained
Help organize family, community, and volunteer involvement
Support a positive and engaging environment for all residents
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Activities Certification (preferred)
At least 1 year of experience in a long-term care or similar setting (preferred)
Previous experience conducting recreational or social programs within the last 5 years (preferred)
Energetic, outgoing, and dependable
Strong communication and organizational skills
