Duties
- Conduct regular pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and maintaining water clarity.
- Perform routine inspections of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with pool equipment using hand tools and power tools.
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs performed, and maintenance schedules.
- Assist with opening and closing pools according to safety standards and operational procedures.
- Identify potential safety hazards or equipment malfunctions proactively and address them promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about maintenance needs and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair or maintenance.
- Prior experience as a service technician or in pool maintenance is highly preferred.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for repairs and installations.
- Knowledge of pool cleaning techniques, chemical balancing, and water chemistry is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy equipment, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
